Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment. This role requires a blend of hospitality management skills and a passion for guest relations, making it essential for creating memorable experiences for all visitors.
Duties
- Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Manage reservations, including modifications and cancellations, using multi-line phone systems.
- Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation.
- Address guest complaints promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain the front desk area’s cleanliness and organization to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest needs are met efficiently.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing and data entry.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience in hospitality management or hotel management preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Familiarity with front desk operations in a resort or hotel setting is advantageous.
- Proficient phone etiquette and experience with multi-line phone systems are essential.
