Job Summary
Hello and thank you for your interest in a part time or full time Front Desk Clerk/Weekend Night Audit position here at the Comfort Suites in Dania Beach on Stirling Road and I95, part of DP Hotels Group. We welcome you to come join our warm and friendly hospitality team as a Front Desk Clerk, where you will be the welcoming face and first point of contact for our guests. Hours will include 2 nights 11pm to 7am on the Night Audit Shift (preferably Friday and Saturday nights). This dynamic role involves managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless experience from arrival to departure. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create memorable stays and foster guest loyalty. Whether handling reservations, answering inquiries, or coordinating with other departments, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining our reputation for hospitality excellence.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and inquiries promptly with a positive attitude and effective problem-solving skills
- Maintain detailed records of reservations, guest preferences, and billing information while ensuring data accuracy
- Conduct night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management shift hours are 11pm to 7am
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met swiftly and effectively
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hotel management or front desk operations within a resort or hospitality environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued
- Familiarity with front desk systems, multi-line phone systems, and night audit procedures
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle high-volume calls professionally
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles and guest relations strategies
- Ability to remain energetic, attentive, and professional during busy shifts, including nights and weekends
- Previous hotel experience is preferred but not mandatory; a passion for hospitality is essential
