Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces according to established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and amenities are spotless and well-maintained.
- Care for floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, linens, and other essentials to ensure guest comfort.
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures when handling chemicals and equipment.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment for efficiency and safety.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments with a focus on cleanliness standards.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing.
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and custodial equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals and equipment use; housekeeping management experience is a plus.
