Hello and thank you for your interest in a part time maintenance position here at the Comfort Suites on Federal Highway in Dania Beach. We are seeking a reliable and friendly Hotel Maintenance Worker to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role requires a background in maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess experience in painting, caulking, HVAC systems, and some electrician work. Excellent teamwork and customer service skills are essential for interacting with guests and staff alike. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical expertise directly contributes to guest satisfaction and operational excellence.

Duties

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance in all hotel guest rooms to include painting, caulking and repairs.
• Maintain safety standards throughout the hotel
• Keep outside grounds and all around hotel area clean, pick up trash, property walk throughs all around inside hotel including public areas and stairwells to ensure all areas are clean and in good working order
• Assist with projects given by the Executive Housekeeper and General Manager.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from guests or staff members.
• Document all maintenance activities accurately for compliance and operational records.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of painting and caulking
• Able to maintain a clean and organized working area
• Strong communication skills with Management
• Must be flexible with schedule
• Able to work alone as well as part of a team
• Demonstrated customer service orientation with a proactive approach to problem-solving in a hospitality setting. This role is integral to maintaining the safety, functionality, and comfort of our hotel environment through expert technical maintenance and exceptional service delivery.
