Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on marine vessels, including boats, ships, and other watercraft.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.
- Use schematics and technical manuals to guide repair work.
- Fabricate or modify parts as needed to complete repairs.
- Assemble and install new equipment or systems on marine vessels.
- Perform heavy lifting as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals.
- Ability to fabricate or modify parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks.
-Clean driving record.
-Dependable transportation.
-Electrical and plumbing experience (marine preferred).
-Must have own hand tools, gauges, meters, etc.
-Must have references.
