Caregiver Job Responsibilities:
- Establish open communication and develop friendly relationships with seniors and their families
- Help seniors with daily tasks such as light housekeeping and organization
- Accompany seniors to the grocery store, doctor appointments and pharmacy visits
- Assist seniors with personal care such as bathing, grooming, and hygiene
- Organize transportation, ambulation, and transfers
- Encourage activity and movement
- Inspire a positive, can-do attitude when it comes to daily tasks, appointments, and hobbies
- Maintain a trusting and comforting environment in the home.
Caregiver Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for helping others
- Valid driver's license
- Your own reliable transportation you can use for work
- Excellent work and personal references
- Satisfactory background checks and driving record
- Adherence to Comfort Keepers' policies and procedures.
- Functioning in a home setting with minimal direct supervision
- Maintaining satisfactory relationships with administrative staff, clients, and family members.
NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY, just your dedication to providing quality service and your caring heart are required. However, strong consideration will be given to candidates with previous experience as a Caregiver, CNA, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide/Assistant, or similar positions.
