Compensation & Benefits

Starting Pay: $14.50 per hour

Benefits Include:

• Weekly direct deposit

Caregiver Duties & Responsibilities

As a Comfort Keepers caregiver, you will provide one-on-one in-home support to seniors and adults needing assistance with daily living activities.

Responsibilities may include:

• Companionship and emotional support
• Personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and ambulation assistance
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal preparation and nutrition support
• Medication reminders
• Dementia and Alzheimer’s care support
• Recovery and mobility assistance
• Creating a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment

Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience required (home care, assisted living, nursing facility, or related healthcare setting)
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check in accordance with Kentucky regulations
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Negative TB test
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to attend in-person orientation in Owensboro, KY
• Two forms of valid identification (such as driver’s license and Social Security card)
