What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Overnight position at Comfort Keepers?
Comfort Keepers is hiring a part time and full overnight caregiver, schedule includes every other Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11p-7a. Must be able to stay until 3pm if you replacement does not arrive.
The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 60 days of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase upon certification.
Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
- Meal planning, cooking and baking
- Conversation and companionship
- Interactive Caregiving
- Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
- Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
- Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
- Assistance with medication
- Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
- Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required
- Driver's License
- 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver
- High School Diploma or GED
- State and Federal background check and fingerprinting
- Lift 50 pounds safely
- Work history that shows excellent attendance
- Work history that show job retention
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Positive work references

- Professional image
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
