Overnight Caregiver

Comfort Keepers is now hiring an in home caregiver for a client 11am-7pm. Part-time or Full-time includes e/o weekend. Must be able to be mandated to stay for day shift 7am-3pm if replacement doesn't show up. Looking for help with new client mornings, afternoons and evenings, you tell us when you are available to work!

Caregivers earn $18.00 and then are eligible for free CNA class in Nisswa after 60 days, if caregiver is CNA certified, wage $20.00.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
• Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
• Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
• Meal planning, cooking and baking
• Conversation and companionship
• Interactive Caregiving
• Errands and transportation
• Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
• Assistance with medication
• Dementia or Alzheimer’s care
• End of life care
• Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
• Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares

Requirements:

• Willing to drive 30 mile radius of the office.
• May have multiple shifts a day, gap time paid.
• Schedule varies and changes with clients needs.
• 21 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Own reliable transportation, clean driving record, 3 years driving experience
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance and comfortable driving
• Exceptional attendance record
• Successful in all home: dementia, homes with cats/dogs
• DHS and driving record background clearance
• Customer Service Excellence, Professional Boundaries required.
