What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel CNA position at Comfort Keepers of St. Cloud, MN?
Comfort Keepers is now hiring a travel CNA. We are a senior home care company. You will travel to client homes to provided one on one care (ADLs and light housekeeping.) This position is only open to staff who have outstanding attendance required and are able to work in all senior homes including smoking, dogs and cats.
Job Duties
- Assist Seniors and Veterans with all personal care needs as needed, working one on one in the client home.
- Assist clients at mealtime and monitor eating habits
- Ensure that required documentation is complete and in compliance
- Assist with housekeeping tasks
- Maintain confidentiality regarding each client
- Travel CNAs are the call off staff. They fill in and are not the regular staff for the client.
- You will not know your schedule until that day but typically you work about 30 hours but still get paid for the 40.
Comfort Keepers Benefits
- Travel CNAs will be paid 40 hours and will be available to work between the hours of 1pm and 11pm includes e/o weekend. Hours vary slightly. Caregivers are paid the full time hours regardless of if actual hours worked are less.

- Travel wage is higher than regular staff due to expectation that sometime you may be driving in all of Brainerd Lakes area plus Little Falls. Occasionally St. Cloud.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Exceptional Attendance Record History
- Superior customer service
- Work history that show job retention
- CNA experience
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Be successful in every client home
- Able to work in all homes including homes with dogs, cats, and a few smokers
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand and lift up to 50 pounds
- Valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance and vehicle to use throughout the day
- Able to assist both male and female clients with personal cares
- Must have had driver's license for at least 3 years
- Clean driving record
