What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Certified Nursing Assistant position at Comfort Keepers of St. Cloud, MN?
Comfort Keepers® caregivers travel to clients’ homes to provide care services and living assistance. Ask about our FREE CNA classes. We have opening in Little Falls area for shifts in morning or evenings. Part-time. Includes e/o weekend.
The starting wage is $18/hour for Caregivers and $20/hour for CNAs. After 5 months of employment, Caregivers are eligible to enroll in our CNA training program and will receive a wage increase to $20/hour upon certification.
Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping includes cleaning bathroom, living areas, kitchens, dusting, mopping, linen change, vacuuming, laundry, garbage etc.
- Meal planning, cooking and baking
- Conversation and companionship
- Interactive Caregiving
- Errands and transportation
- Assistance with ADLs. Activities of Daily Living
- Hands-on personal cares may include assistance with dressing, grooming, incontinence, and hygiene
- Assistance with mobility may include use of transfer tools/equipment
- Assistance with medication
- Dementia or Alzheimer’s care
- End of life care
- Communicate with Client Care Coordinator as needed
- Provide proper electronic documentation of shift and cares
Qualifications:
- At least 21 years of age
- Reliable transportation, personal vehicle required throughout your work day
- Driver's License
- 3 years of driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Proof of Auto Insurance with your name listed as authorized driver
- High School Diploma or GED
- State and Federal background check and fingerprinting
- Help both male and female clients with personal cares
- Lift 50 pounds safely
- Work history that shows excellent attendance
- Work history that show job retention
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently
- Positive work references
