Head Housekeeper – Comfort Inn Paducah, KY

Comfort Inn in Paducah, KY is seeking a dependable, experienced, and motivated Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping department. We are looking for someone who takes pride in cleanliness, works well with a team, and understands the importance of providing guests with clean, comfortable rooms.

This is a hands-on leadership position. The Head Housekeeper will oversee daily housekeeping operations while also assisting the team as needed to ensure rooms are cleaned and ready for guests on time.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support the housekeeping team
• Assign daily room boards and organize housekeeping workload
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and quality
• Clean guest rooms when needed and assist during busy days
• Train new housekeeping employees on proper cleaning procedures and hotel standards
• Monitor room status and communicate closely with the Front Desk
• Maintain housekeeping supplies, linens, and inventory
• Report maintenance issues found in guest rooms and public areas
• Help manage laundry operations and linen levels
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and brand cleanliness standards are followed
• Maintain a positive, productive, and professional work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous hotel housekeeping experience preferred
• Housekeeping supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a team
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced hotel environment
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, push, and perform physical housekeeping duties throughout the shift
