Hotel Sales Manager – Business Development

Full-Time | Hospitality Sales

Build Relationships. Win New Accounts. Grow Hotel Revenue.

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Hotel Sales Manager to develop new business, build long-term customer relationships, and generate room revenue for our hotel.

This is not a desk-only sales position.

We are looking for someone who enjoys getting into the market, meeting businesses, finding opportunities, building relationships, following up, and turning prospects into repeat hotel customers.

What You Will Do

• Develop new corporate and extended-stay customers for the hotel.
• Conduct outside sales visits to businesses and organizations throughout the local market.
• Make sales calls, send emails, network, and participate in sales blitzes.
• Build relationships with HR managers, project managers, travel coordinators, office managers, and other decision-makers.
• Identify companies with employees, contractors, crews, or guests traveling into the area.
• Develop business from construction companies, corporations, hospitals, relocation companies, insurance housing, government agencies, colleges, sports teams, trucking/logistics companies, and other organizations.
• Identify upcoming projects that could generate hotel room nights.
• Negotiate corporate and extended-stay rates.
• Prepare and follow up on sales proposals.
• Convert prospects into producing hotel accounts.
• Maintain relationships with existing customers and grow their business.
• Reconnect with customers who have stopped booking.
• Maintain an active pipeline of potential customers.
• Track sales activity, bookings, room nights, and revenue.
• Work closely with hotel management to ensure important customers receive excellent service.

What Success Looks Like

We are not looking for someone who simply makes calls and drops off brochures.

We are looking for someone who produces results.

Your success will be measured by:

New Customers Producing Accounts Room Nights Revenue Repeat Business

You should be able to take a prospect through the entire sales process:

Find the Opportunity → Meet the Decision-Maker → Build the Relationship → Win the Account → Generate Bookings → Keep the Customer

Who We Are Looking For

• Comfortable making cold calls and walking into businesses.
• Excellent at building long-term customer relationships.
• Organized and able to manage multiple sales opportunities.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Competitive and results-oriented.
• Comfortable asking for the business and closing sales.
• Focused on revenue, not simply sales activity.

Previous hotel sales, hospitality, outside sales, business development, corporate sales, apartment/relocation sales, staffing sales, or B2B sales experience is preferred.

Hotel experience is helpful, but we are especially interested in candidates who can demonstrate that they know how to find customers, build relationships, and close business.
