Part Time Room Attendant/Housekeeping

We are hiring for Part Time housekeeping, some weekends will be required.

Room attendants should promote a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems

ATTENTION TO DETAIL

PREREQUISITES:

Physical mobility and stamina required, Ability to follow instruction, Detail-oriented, Professional attitude, Ability to work independently

Responsible for following the standard operating procedures

• Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
• Remove dirty bed linen and make up bed with clean linen
• Clean closets and door tracks on check-out rooms. Ensure correct amount and placement of hangers, extra blanket/pillows,and replace laundry bags .
• Dust and polish all furniture
• Empty trash containers.
• Remove/Replace Linens
• Cleans guest bathroom/bedroom/floor corridor .
• Remove soil, dirt, soap build-up and hair from bathroom mirrors, vanity, sink, toilet, shower walls, bathtub, shower curtain and floor.
• Replenishes guestroom and bathroom supplies in correct amount and location
• Perform rotation cleaning duties (e.g. steam clean carpets, spring cleaning, super cleaning etc.) as required
• Vacuums the carpet.
• Ensure the security of guest rooms and the privacy of guests
• Checks and secures the rooms

· Respond to guest complaints, special requests and take action to ensure guest satisfaction

• Monitor and control supplies and amenities and minimize waste within all areas of housekeeping
• · Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service

We are hiring not only for room attendants/housekeepers, but also looking for a leader, the Executive housekeeping position.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
