What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Comfort Inn & Suites?
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team. This position is responsible for setting up, maintaining, and cleaning the breakfast area while providing excellent guest service. The ideal candidate is organized, self-motivated, and enjoys interacting with guests in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and prepare the breakfast area before service begins
- Cook and replenish hot and cold breakfast items (eggs, waffles, etc.)
- Ensure food is stocked, fresh, and presented neatly at all times
- Greet guests and provide a welcoming, positive experience
- Keep breakfast area clean, sanitized, and organized throughout shift
- Clean and restock serving stations, tables, and beverage areas
- Follow all health, safety, and food handling guidelines
- Wash dishes and clean kitchen equipment as needed
- Break down and clean the breakfast area after service ends
- Communicate any inventory or maintenance needs to management
Qualifications:
- Previous food service or hospitality experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to work early morning shifts (including weekends and holidays)
- Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work independently and stay on task
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
Schedule:
- Early morning shifts: 5:00AM-12PM
- Weekend availability required
