Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper/Laundry Worker to join our hospitality team. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and floor care procedures to ensure safety and aesthetic appeal
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and cleaning products in guest rooms and common areas
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning processes to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with janitorial tasks in communal spaces like lobbies, conference rooms, and restrooms to uphold hygiene standards
- Support housekeeping management by reporting maintenance issues or supply shortages promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including polishing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and laundry machines safely
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality standards in cleanliness and presentation
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during shifts
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and handling laundry loads
