Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Hotel Receptionist to join our hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage multi-line phone systems and respond promptly to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special accommodations with professionalism
- Maintain accurate reservation records and update guest information in the hotel management system
- Assist with night audit duties as needed, ensuring financial accuracy at shift end
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are ready and well-maintained
- Uphold hotel policies and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Promote guest relations by delivering personalized service to enhance guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality front desk operations preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
- Familiarity with hotel management software and multi-line phone systems is a plus
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including night audit procedures and guest relations best practices
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills required
- Prior hotel or resort experience will be considered an asset
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
