Maintenance Worker

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance tasks, including electrical, mechanical, and facilities maintenance. Strong leadership abilities and customer service skills are also crucial for this position. Must know all maintenance work.

Duties

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and facilities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, utilizing knowledge of programmable logic controllers
• Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or improvements
• Read and interpret schematics to diagnose issues effectively
• Conduct residential painting and other aesthetic improvements within the facility
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities
• Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as necessary
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing facility-related concerns promptly

Experience

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong mechanical knowledge base
• Familiarity with electrical systems and the use of tools such as an ohmmeter
• Experience in manufacturing environments is preferred
• Previous supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
