Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including residential homes and commercial establishments. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Execute floor care tasks such as sweeping, waxing, and polishing floors to maintain their appearance.
- Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously.
- Assist in housekeeping management tasks when required, including training new staff members on cleaning protocols.
- Conduct carpet cleaning as needed to maintain the quality of carpets in residential or commercial spaces.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations within the housekeeping department.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or residential cleaning is preferred.
- Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in hotel housekeeping management is a plus but not required.
- Must be physically capable of performing cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving furniture.
