We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Front Desk Associate / Night Auditor to join our hotel team. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service, handling check-ins and check-outs, managing reservations, and completing the nightly audit. The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, and able to work independently while providing a welcoming experience for our guests.
Duties
- Greet guests and provide friendly and professional check-in and check-out service.
- Manage reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest accounts accurately.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests with questions, requests, and concerns.
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
- Complete the nightly audit and reconcile daily transactions and payments.
- Prepare required night audit reports and shift documentation.
- Monitor the property and follow hotel safety and security procedures during overnight hours.
- Communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management regarding guest needs or property issues.
- Handle late-night reservations, cancellations, and guest requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Follow hotel policies and procedures and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
- Previous hotel or front desk experience preferred, but not required.
- Night audit experience is a plus; training will be provided.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
- Strong communication and basic computer skills.
- Ability to handle payments and financial transactions accurately.
- Reliable and able to work independently during overnight shifts.
- Ability to multitask and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
