Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
- Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive guest experience
- Maintain accurate guest records and billing information
- Uphold phone etiquette standards when communicating with guests via phone or in person
- Assist with night audit procedures as needed
- Promote hotel services and amenities to enhance guest stay experiences
- Work closely with other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, etc.) to ensure guest needs are met.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a customer service role, especially in a hotel, hospitality, or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays if needed.
- Strong verbal communication skills in English. Additional language proficiency (e.g., Spanish, French) is a plus.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift light items (up to 15 lbs), and move around the hotel property as necessary.
- A strong desire to help others and provide a memorable, positive experience for hotel guests.
- Must be able to resolve guest issues efficiently and professionally, with a calm and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with night audit procedures is a plus
- Must maintain a neat and professional appearance in accordance with the hotel's dress code and grooming standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A college degree is a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 38 per week
