What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Maintenance Engineer position at Comfort Inn Bozeman?
We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented full-time maintenance engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functional, pleasurable, and safe. Compensation:
$26 - $30 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Observe all engineering safety rules and criteria
- Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
- Create an available channel of communication between you and other staff, including managers and department heads
- Work with a variety of tools hammers and screwdrivers, indicators and edge finders, drills, wrenches, and other maintenance tools of the trade
- Work in collaboration with other technicians who will assist you with a variety of maintenance tasks
Qualifications:
- This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of computer software; preferably facilities management software
- The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
- Driver’s license and clean driving record is mandatory
