The Role:
As an HVAC & Plumbing Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the HVAC and plumbing industries while working closely with experienced technicians. You will assist with a variety of tasks related to the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow, and build a long-term career in these essential trades.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and plumbing systems under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC and plumbing issues.
- Help ensure proper operation of systems by testing, adjusting, and calibrating equipment.
- Participate in system inspections and assist with system cleanings and maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment at all times.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles.
- Assist with customer service by communicating updates and ensuring satisfaction.
- Complete any assigned training programs and attend industry-related courses as needed.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including working in confined spaces and lifting heavy equipment.
- Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in both HVAC and plumbing trades.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and reliable punctuality.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends, as needed.
