Overview
We are seeking a Skilled Caregiver to join our dynamic team and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. In this role, you will deliver personalized care that promotes independence, safety, and comfort. Your dedication will help enhance the quality of life for individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring specialized memory or dementia care.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing changes in condition; document findings accurately
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and preferences; ensure proper food handling and hygiene
- Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to maintain safety and compliance
- Operate assistive devices like Hoyer lifts and manage patient transfers safely using proper techniques
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Support clients in engaging activities that promote mental stimulation and social interaction
Skills
- Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques and ability to recognize signs requiring medical attention
- Certification in CPR and First Aid; familiarity with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate mobility aids like Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and family members
- Compassionate attitude combined with excellent organizational skills for managing care plans and medication schedules

Pay: $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
