ComForCare is urgently hiring Home Health Aides in the Bronx who are able to work during weekday mornings! This position would be a great fit for anyone looking to supplement their day by working shorter hours, such as 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. With us, you’ll be part of a team that understands the realities of caregiving in New York. Travel time, navigating transportation, and working around life’s logistics are all part of the planning that goes into matching you with your client.

Qualifications:

• Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) certification
• Full Physical Report and Drug Screening (within past 12 months)
• 2 professional reference letters (within past 3 years)
• Eligibility to work in the United States
  
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with activities of daily living, as well as thoughtful or creative activities to engage each unique client. Depending on their individual needs, you may be asked to help with:

• Dressing, grooming, and hygiene
• Ambulation around the house
• Encouraging exercise and fluids
• Light housekeeping
• Meal preparation
• Running errands
• Transportation to appointments
