What are the responsibilities and job description for the Avionics Assembly Technician position at Comcentric, Inc?
We are seeking Avionics Assembly Technicians for an opportunity in Kent, WA (98032). This is a 6 month onsite contract role supporting flight and test hardware builds.
Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (onsite in Kent, WA) with OT available
In this role, you would be:
- Building components across test and flight environments
- Performing board-level assembly and soldering
- Fabricating, terminating, and testing wire harnesses
- Installing RF boxes, crimping, and bonding panels
- Working with torque tools and standard electronics test equipment
What we’re looking for:
- 3 years of aerospace or avionics assembly experience
- Experience in an ESD-controlled environment with tool accountability processes
- Hands-on experience with soldering, multimeters, and basic electronics test equipment
- Wire harness fabrication, termination, and testing experience
- Strong mechanical assembly skills and ability to work to aerospace standards/specifications
