Job Summary

Leveraging the company’s massive scale and network footprint, Comcast Business has the ability to dominate the following high-growth and underserved markets: The charter of our CIO is to… …create an infrastructure (people, process and technology) that makes it easier for business customers to acquire, consume and pay for both new and existing services in any way they choose, with the end result being a positive, frictionless customer experience for every individual doing business with Comcast. • Small business: Think hundreds of thousands of mom-and-pop shops with next generation internet, security and phone service needs. • Medium business: Multi-location organizations, both in and out of Comcast’s network, with Ethernet, multi-site connectivity and advanced voice requirements. • Enterprise & government: A real life example is Dunkin Donuts. Comcast provides fully managed services across 8,700 locations including both the back office (network, security, backup) and front office (guest wifi, mobile ordering, access points) technologies and services. The company is putting its money where its mouth is. Comcast has invested more than $15 billion in its network since 2017 to meet not only the current needs of their customers, but to stay well ahead of their competition and future demand. The company is also both developing and acquiring new products for its portfolio and, at the same time, acquiring companies to bring it into new technology categories and geographies. With the company’s evolution up-market into the enterprise, Comcast must now evolve its internal capabilities as it services larger and more complex global customers. While the systems of engagement originally developed on the residential side of the company have served Comcast Business well to date, it is now time to reimagine and reinvigorate how the organization engages with its enterprise customer base. For this reason, Comcast Business is now seeking an enthusiastic Chief Information Officer who will be accountable for conceptualizing and building all the systems of engagement that drive the end-to-end customer lifecycle which includes but is not limited to acquiring, activating, provisioning, onboarding, billing, servicing, and retaining enterprise customers of every size.
