We are seeking motivated and dependable individual to join our team as Food Service Supervisor at the Delaware County Detention Center. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow into a leadership role while gaining hands-on experience in food service operations.
What You’ll Do
- Manage daily kitchen operations, food prep, and meal service
- Supervise kitchen staff and inmate workers
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health standards
- Handle inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Maintain organized, efficient kitchen workflows
- Follow facility safety and security procedures
- Plan and execute menus based on guidelines and budget
Qualifications
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and enforce policies
- Previous food service experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work in a secure correctional facility environment
