SCOPE OF POSITION:
The Shuttle Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of all shuttle services for guests and employees. The Shuttle Driver’s performance is necessary for the casino to reach its full potential in providing a superior entertainment experience for its guests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following are major duties and are not intended to be all-inclusive or restrictive.
- Abide by and enforce Casino and department policies and procedures.
- Ensures employees provide responsible and safe shuttle service to all guests/employees.
- Maintains high level of guest service.
- Provides directions to casino events and local areas of interest.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
The Shuttle Driver regularly communicates and exchanges information with coworkers and guests, and operates a shuttle cart. The Shuttle Driver is required to reach with hands and arms, and to sit; climb or balance; lift up to 40lbs; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The Shuttle Driver will be required to do moderate lifting/carrying of objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Depending on weather, the Shuttle Driver will be exposed to extreme cold or heat, temperatures varying from below 32 degrees to 100 degrees or more, for periods of more than one hour.
Work is performed throughout all areas of the facility where there may be flashing lights and the noise levels vary from quiet to loud depending on the time of day, the specific location and the amount of business. The Shuttle Driver must be able and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and in a smoke-filled environment. The workplace is also under constant surveillance both inside and outside the facility.
The Shuttle Driver may be exposed to the risks associated in attempting to resolve contentious issues with difficult guests and staff members.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to consistently report for duty as scheduled.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
