What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist - HH/Hospice/Ambulance position at Comanche County Hospital Authority?
DEFINITION:
Under the direction of the CCMH Billing manager/Home Health Billing manager, the billing representative is responsible for the daily processing of insurance claims, posting of monies received by insurance companies and patients and monthly follow up of accounts receivable.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Two years billing experience in a hospital or clinic setting.
High School graduate or greater, basic computer and secretarial skills preferred.
Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
Basic computer skills
Must have good organizational skills, reading, writing and proven communication skills.
