We're looking for an experienced electrician in the Capital Region to join our team and support various local projects.
This position is part of a project subject to Section 3 requirements. Preference will be given to qualified low-income individuals, local residents, and participants in workforce development programs such as YouthBuild.

This role will be responsible for installing electrical systems safely and neatly in customer’s facilities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Independently install lighting systems, fire alarm systems, electrical panels and other electrical systems in accordance with NEC
- Able to train and direct apprentices
- Safely use equipment, ladders, scissor lifts and platforms to work on electrical systems within the commercial buildings
- Perform inspections and maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and functionality
- Assess and determine steps necessary to trouble-shoot an electrical situation using testing equipment
- Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or light fixtures
- Comply with and maintain a safe working environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements
Minimum Position Requirements:
- Clean driving record and current driver’s license
- Proficient with NEC and NFPA standards
- 5 years recent electrical installation experience in Residential and commercial settings (renovations, remodeling, new construction, service, Home Automation etc.).
- OSHA 10 Required OSHA 30 preferred
