In this role, you will be integral to the Design Engineering Test Lab, collaborating with engineers and project managers to develop new products and evaluate existing systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing mechanical testing, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and contributing to a culture of quality within the lab.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute mechanical assembly and disassembly of products, troubleshooting issues as they arise to ensure operational efficiency.
Perform a variety of standardized tests, including functional and thermal testing, contributing to the validation of new designs.
Maintain rigorous documentation standards to comply with internal and external requirements, aiding in both quality assurance and regulatory adherence.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans and protocols, driving innovation and improvements in product quality.
Requirements:
Proven mechanical bench skills with at least 3 years of experience in assembly and troubleshooting in a laboratory environment.
Experience in executing standardized testing protocols, specifically functional, thermal, pressure, and Ingress Protection (IP) testing over a minimum of 2 years.
Strong literacy in interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications to complete Engineering Test Requests (ETRs).
Demonstrated responsibility for equipment maintenance and calibration in a lab setting with relevant experience.
