PLEASE NOTE: This internship must be pre-approved by the College/University and the District

Primary Purpose:

Responsible for performing a variety of duties in assigned department.

Experience / Other Requirements:

Current Comal ISD student or recently graduated Comal ISD student, preferred.

Special Knowledge / Skills:

1. Knowledge of personal computers to include experience using word processing and spreadsheet software.
2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Strong organizational skills.
4. Tact, diplomacy, and discretion required in all matters.
5. Able to follow all district policies to include the district confidentiality and privacy policy.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Participates in projects as assigned by the Department Director.
2. Spends time with department staff to learn about the different functions within the department.
3. Other duties as assigned.
