POSITION: Surveillance Observer I
SALARY: DOE; starting at $20.20 per hour
REPORTS TO: Surveillance Manager
LOCATION: Omak, Washington
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Non-exempt. Under the general supervision of the Surveillance Manager, an Observer I shall cooperate with yet perform independently of all other departments. This is a mid-level position. The Observer I writes comprehensive reports and logs, with the ability to conduct investigations. The Observer I maintains the integrity of the casino using clandestine surveillance operations and performs other duties as assigned by the Surveillance Manager or Gaming Director. Incumbents who wish to be promoted to the second and final level of the multi-tiered career path may be exposed to on-the-job training to learn the technical knowledge for installing and maintaining surveillance equipment.
The Observer I will operate cameras in the monitor room and utilize computers for routine paperwork. The Observer I is to be fully knowledgeable of Federal and Tribal Internal Control Standards (TICS) and CTGC-approved procedures and policies. The Observer I must also be familiar with all rules and procedures for all games in the Casinos, including but not limited to the table games of Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, etc. The Observer must have experience or aptitude for using electronic surveillance equipment.
