Job Summary
Colusa County Office of Education is recruiting for a Short Term Transportation Specialist who can assist in the organizing of activities and operations of the SELPA transportation; assist in scheduling and coordinating Special Education pupil transportation to and from schools and out of county placements; assure proper maintenance and repair of county vehicles; assist in the training of assigned personnel; perform a variety of complex and technical clerical support duties.

CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION: Colusa County Special Ed. SALARY: $22.60 - $30.29 per hour HOURS/DAYS: 8 hours per day, varies EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Four years of job-related experience. One year of experience working with children in an organized setting. Meet Title I Paraprofessional requirement: high school diploma or the equivalent, and two (2) years college coursework (48 units); or Associate’s degree or higher; or pass local assessment of knowledge and skills in assisting in instruction LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS: Valid basic First Aid and CPR certificate The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, a valid California driver’s license, and disclosure of CA-DMV Driver Record (INF-1125) following acceptance of job offer.
