Position Summary:
The Busser plays a critical role in supporting the restaurant’s front-of-house team within a casino setting. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, assisting servers, and ensuring that every guest receives an exceptional dining experience. The Busser works closely with both front and heart-of-house personnel to provide efficient service and contribute to a welcoming environment.
Essential Functions:
- Station Setup: At the beginning of each shift, obtain and prepare the assigned station, ensuring it is fully stocked with necessary items.
- Menu Knowledge: Develop and maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and availability of special requests, to assist guests and team members.
- Food and Beverage Service: Support the prompt delivery of food and beverages to guests, working closely with servers to ensure timely service.
- Side-Work: Perform pre-shift, in-shift, and post-shift duties, maintaining the cleanliness and readiness of the workstation.
- Table Maintenance: Clear tables quickly after guests leave, assisting servers with the removal of soiled dishes and glassware. Ensure tables are promptly sanitized and set up for new guests.
- Cleanliness and Safety: Address spills immediately and ensure any potential hazards are corrected to maintain a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.
- Communication: Collaborate with servers, managers, and other staff to ensure smooth service operations. Report any issues to the manager-on-duty or supervisor promptly.
- Compliance: Follow all personnel and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with safety and service standards.
- Miscellaneous Duties: Assist in other duties as directed by the Front of House Supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency of restaurant operations.

Work Environment and Conditions:
- Physical Environment: Primarily a well-lit, temperature-controlled environment, but exposure to smoke-filled or noisy areas may occur in the casino.
- Shifts: The role may require weekend, holiday, and extended shifts to accommodate the operational needs of the casino.
