Position OverviewThe role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing federal and state tax returns for both individuals and businesses. This position also provides strategic tax planning support, ensures compliance with current tax laws, and delivers high‑quality guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Review federal and state income tax returns prior to final partner approval.
• Prepare complex individual and business tax returns.
• Conduct account analyses and perform balance sheet reconciliations.
• Offer tax planning recommendations and identify tax‑efficient strategies.
• Work directly with clients to gather documentation and address questions.
• Stay informed on changes in tax laws to ensure accurate and compliant advice.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting.
• CPA license preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Demonstrated experience in tax preparation, review, and reconciliations.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and detail‑oriented skills.
