- 2–5 years of INCOME TAX PREPARATION experience WITH A CPA FIRM (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

- Experience preparing multiple return types: 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 1041
- Stable work history (NO JOB HOPPERS)
- Candidate must be local to Tulsa, OK (within 40 miles) OR open to relocation (only if highly reliable)

Core Responsibilities:
- Prepare federal and state income tax returns for:
- Individuals (1040)
- Partnerships (1065)
- Corporations (1120 / 1120S)
- Trusts (1041)
- Prepare and maintain accurate tax workpapers
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all filings
- Handle multiple client engagements across industries
- Maintain high standards of quality and attention to detail
Technical Skills Required:
- Lacerte (MUST HAVE – PRIMARY TOOL)
- QuickBooks
- Sage 50 Accounting
- Microsoft Excel

Ideal Candidate Profile – Tax Accountant (CPA Firm)

- Expert-level usage of Lacerte (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage 50 Accounting

- Currently working or recently worked in a public accounting / CPA firm environment
- Proven ability to handle multiple client engagements simultaneously
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance
- Experience preparing accurate and audit-ready tax workpapers
- High attention to detail with zero-error mindset
- Stable career history (no frequent job changes)
- Experience working with clients from Real Estate, Medical, Restaurants, Legal, Oil & Gas preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced tax season environment
- Able to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and clients
