The US base salary range for this full-time position is $118,107 - $167,475 bonus and benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Summary
The Program Manager (PM) is responsible for understanding business strategy and priorities and translating business needs and trends to create solutions. The incumbent will own all project outcomes, set bold goals, and drive high quality results, will communicating effectively and with influence, across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates and manage the daily activities of a cross-functional team for successful execution of assigned projects
- Develop and manage project governance including steering committee meetings, sponsor meetings, project team meetings, status reports, etc.
- Estimates Project cost and develop, maintain and publish a Project budget
- Establishes baseline time, cost and performance objectives to meet overall program scope
- Creates and controls program documentation such as program plans
- Ensures program and product requirements are established and controlled consistent with our processes.
- Assesses program risk and opportunities and establishes risk management plans
- Makes sound/data-driven decisions to ensure program cost, schedule and performance targets are met
- Plans and develop the scope of an individual project or individual projects
- Develops and maintains a Project-level implementation schedule and provide a Project-level communications plan
- Defines, contracts, and manages external support, as required, managing changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
- Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 10 years HCM/ERP/IT project management experience with a strong focus on HCM and Financials implementations, as well as other types of IT projects such as infrastructure, cloud, security, etc.
- 9 years’ experience as a hands-on Project Manager on implementation projects
- 7 years’ experience in Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Experience in using multiple types of PM tools (MS suite, as well as Atlassian suite)
- At least two full lifecycle ERP Implementation project as a Project Manager
- Experience managing fixed-scope, fixed-price, full lifecycle implementation projects for Public Sector agencies
- Strong ability in meeting deadlines, and budget while maintaining successful team execution
- Strong verbal, presentation and written communication skills with c-level client staff, technical staff and application users
- Proven business knowledge as well as PeopleSoft application specific functional knowledge
- University degree in business, computer science or equivalent
- Active PMP Certification
- Experienced in developing risk management and mitigation plans
- Experienced managing projects supporting DoD, DARPA, and other Government agencies desired
- Experience taking projects from development into production is preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced degree is preferred
- PMP preferred
- CSM preferred
