**$15,000 Sign-On Bonus**
Job Description: Surgical Technologist performs specified duties for the set-up, handling, and maintenance of surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment necessary during a surgical procedure. The Surgical Technologist understands the procedure being performed and works under medical supervision to facilitate the safe and effective conduct of invasive surgical procedures, ensuring that the operating room environment is safe, that the equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety.
Shifts Available: (3) days/week - 6:30am - 7pm
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of Practical Nursing (with current and valid NC license to practice practical nursing), or meets all eligibility requirements for certification by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA).
- Must acquire national certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) within 1 year of employment.
Preferred: Previous surgical tech experience.
Full-Time positions normally work 8 or 10 hour day shifts Monday-Friday. Required to take restricted call with maximum response time of 30 minutes. May be required to work alternate shift or additional hours as the workload demands.
Experience: New graduates will be considered; however, 1 year of previous surgical tech experience is preferred.
