What are the responsibilities and job description for the Endoscopy Technician (FT) position at Columbus Regional Healthcare System?

Shift: 6:30a-3p
Job Description: Disinfects, cleans, sorts, sterilizes, assembles, labels and stores instruments used for endoscopic procedures.
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to read and understand instructions and keep records.
- Incumbent will be required to attain BLS at within 3 months of employment.
- NA I certification and listed on the NC registry in good standing ( incumbent holds one of the preferred certifications listed below.).
Preferred: In lieu of NA I certification, one of the following certifications will be accepted: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA).
Experience: No previous experience required. Given training and on-the-job experience incumbent should be proficient in basic aspects of the job within 6 months.
