Hiring a Nursing Assistant for Advanced Pediatrics & Family Care
Job Description: Performs a variety of patient care, to include medical triaging of patients under the clinical supervision of an RN or LPN. Assists with scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and patient inquiries through the EMR.
Qualifications:
- High school graduate.
- Nursing Assistant certification and listed with the NC Division of Facility Services Registry.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions and keep simple records.
- Incumbents will be required to obtain BLS certification within the first three months of employment.
- Incumbent will be required to demonstrate competency in the performance of duties specific to pediatrics, adult and geriatric patients.
Preferred: NAII, BCLS certified, basic computer applications.
Experience: Prefer two years of experience in a health clinic setting.
