Scheduler Registrar - Precertification Specialist

What you need to know about this position:

• CRH's Audiology department is located in the state-of-the-art facility, Nexus Park. The department provides comprehensive hearing evaluations, diagnostic testing, hearing aid fitting and maintenance.
• The department employs two providers/audiologists who have over 45 years of combined experience.
• Responsible for scheduling and registration of patients presenting to the department. Also responsible for collecting insurance data and/or making contact with payers for prior authorization to ensure proper payment of accounts.
• Performs business functions essential to the department, including but not limited to reception, admitting process, record management, charge entry and/or other responsibilities essential to the smooth operations of the department.
• Scheduler Registrar – Precertification Specialists have a base hourly rate of $17.61. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The hourly compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package, and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This position will require you to work 30–40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with an average shift time of 7:30am-2pm.

What is required for this position:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• Associates Degree in Business is preferred
• Previous experience with the precertification process for cancer detection and treatment procedures
• Flexibility in performing other duties such as reception desk, giving directions, escorting patients and visitors to other areas of the hospital
