Manager – Food Service

What you need to know about this position:

• The Manager – Food Service reports directly to the Director – System Clinical Practice and Education
• This position will lead the daily operations of the Food & Nutrition Service Department which includes management of meals for inpatient, our public Café and catering services and oversight of clinical nutrition services. It provides strategic and day-to-day leadership to a complex and highly regulated department.
• The annualized salary range for this position is between $83,574 – $125,340. Individual compensation is determined for this position through years of directly relevant experience. The base pay compensation is only a portion of the total rewards package and a comprehensive benefits program is available for qualifying positions.
• This position is a salaried/exempt position and will have general hours of 7:30am-4:30pm though flexible hours may be necessary to meet the needs of our business and patients.
• This position will be located onsite in Columbus, Indiana and does not provide direct patient care.

What the successful candidate will bring to this position:

• Bachelors degree in related field required (such as Hospitality Management, Operations Management or Nutritional Services)
• 3-5 years of leadership experience required.
• Experience in healthcare preferred
• Safe Food Handling (e.g., ServSafe) certification is required within 6 months of hire
• Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) required within 1 year of hire
