Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including water supply lines, drain, waste, and vent systems in residential and commercial settings
• Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and plumbing inspection cameras to diagnose issues and perform repairs effectively
• Conduct drain cleaning using specialized equipment to clear blockages and ensure proper flow within plumbing systems
• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to accurately execute plumbing installations and modifications
• Perform remodeling tasks involving plumbing components while ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety standards
• Operate company vehicles responsibly for transportation to job sites while maintaining vehicle safety checks
• Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems for leaks, corrosion, or other issues requiring maintenance or repair
• Assist with construction site setup by assembling piping systems, connecting fixtures, and supporting other trades as needed
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot complex plumbing problems efficiently
• Support plumbing system maintenance by testing water pressure, inspecting water heaters, and ensuring system integrity

Experience

• Proven construction experience with a focus on residential or commercial plumbing projects
• Hands-on experience with plumbing installation, repair, remodeling, and system maintenance
• Skilled in welding techniques related to pipe fitting and system fabrication
• Familiarity with plumbing inspection cameras for diagnosing hidden issues within pipes
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations governing plumbing work in various jurisdictions
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise project execution
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as pipe threaders or pipe benders is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude with basic math skills for measurements and calculations involved in installation tasks
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about work performed
