Responsibilities:
- Perform industrial cleaning tasks in a variety of settings, including offices, warehouses, and public spaces
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of facilities by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
- Empty trash cans and dispose of waste in designated areas
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including desks, tables, and windowsills
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Follow established procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing cleaning duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as needed
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes
