Position Overview Statement
The Supervisor - Nonpublic Support Services is responsible for coordinating equitable special education and related services for parentally placed nonpublic school students under IDEA VI-B. This role ensures that federal and state requirements are met for service delivery, eligibility, data reporting, and proportionate share expenditures. The Supervisor serves as the primary liaison between the district and nonpublic schools, ensuring compliant and effective implementation of equitable services.

Funding for this position is contingent upon the availability of federal grant funding and approved annually for continuation. Evaluation of incumbent will occur through the Columbus City Schools Non-Building Administrator Evaluation. Salary will follow the CAA Salary Schedule.
Occasional evening meetings to accommodate nonpublic schedules.
IDEA Part B Nonpublic Support Services Coordinator will be eligible for stipend for providing additional duties.

Equitable Services & IDEA Coordination
- Oversee the design, implementation, and monitoring of IDEA Part B special education and related services for eligible nonpublic school students.
- Lead and document required consultation processes with nonpublic schools, ensuring alignment with federal mandates, district procedures, and agreed-upon service delivery models.
- Conduct annual proportionate share calculations for IDEA Part B funds.
- Monitor budgets, track expenditures, maintain required documentation, and collaborate with fiscal staff to ensure compliant, timely use of funds.
- Coordinate evaluation referrals and eligibility determinations for nonpublic students, ensuring compliance with timelines, documentation, and procedures.
- Support multidisciplinary teams and oversee service delivery to ensure services are provided as documented.
- Provide technical assistance, guidance, and training to service providers and nonpublic schools; review service models and recommend improvements.
- Ensure accurate, timely data entry and reporting across state and federal systems, including Infinite Campus, SAME Goal, CCIP/ED STEPS, and EMIS (as applicable).
- Maintain complete, compliant, and audit-ready IDEA proportionate share records, service documentation, and monitoring files.
- Prepare and submit documentation for state and federal monitoring reviews.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with IDEA, ODE guidance, federal grant requirements, and district policies; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with district departments, nonpublic school leaders, service providers, and external partners.
- Participate in relevant trainings, workgroups, and district/state initiatives.
- Communicate expectations, updates, and guidance clearly to all stakeholders.
- Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in education, special education, or a related field.
- Experience: Two (2) years of experience in special education, federal program compliance, or nonpublic/private
- school coordination.
- Licensure/Certification: Valid Ohio administrative or teaching license. Valid Driver's License
- Education Level Master’s degree in special education, educational administration, or related field.
- Experience : Experience with CCIP/ED STEPS, EMIS, SAME Goal, and Infinite Campus; Experience working collaboratively with nonpublic schools.

- Knowledge of federal grants management and IDEA fiscal requirements.
