What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2017-2018 Hourly Non-Public School Support Program Specialist position at Columbus City Schools?
Must have current teaching certification in any subject; Master's Degree in education or closely related field; a minimum of five years of experience in teaching and two years of experience in a supervisory or coaching position. Title I experience is preferred.
This position will assist in carrying out program implementation for support services to nonpublic schools. Responsibilities are to include such areas as assisting with program development, monitoring, reporting and evaluation support. Also this position will assist in tutor orientation, consultations, compliance regulation training, professional development, and provide assistance to nonpublic school staff as needed to address areas of concern. The NPSS Program Specialist will assist in performing strategic analysis related to instructional, intervention, programming support services, and perform other special projects for the NPSS Supervisor. Note: Position contingent upon availability of grant funds and includes up to a 30 hour work week with full benefits.
