Responsibilities
- Process human biological samples.
- Record specimens in the designated database.
- Order laboratory supplies and manage inventory.
- Maintain laboratory equipment.
- Assist with billing core customers for services provided.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biology or physics or related science or equivalent in education, training and experience
- Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and collaboratively, and perform effectively under pressure
- Must be self-motivated
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data management systems required
- Prior laboratory experience
- The candidate selected for this position is required to undergo a drug screening test prior to a final offer of employment being made
- Participation in the medical surveillance program
- Potential bloodborne pathogen exposure
- Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
