ABOUT THE POSITION
Although we're an apparel and footwear-focused company, technology is central to everything we do. Columbia Sportswear's Digital Technology (CDT) teams enable an IT infrastructure across four global brands, a global supply chain, and 500 geographically dispersed stores. These teams support in-store, mobile, and data platforms to enhance customer interface and service in an ever-evolving industry.
The Workday Administrator is a subject matter expert and point of contact for assigned functional areas and Centers of Excellence (COEs); ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes and the analysis of data and workflows to continuously optimize Workday. This role is instrumental in the success of key elements of our Workday instance and will act as a consultative partner for cross-functional business teams.
HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE
- Help to optimize global use of Workday for enhanced operations and consistent user experience. Assess system functionality, evaluate releases, provide solutions, and impact analysis to the business
- Responsible for configuration, testing, validation, documentation, approvals, and implementation of minor system changes
- Daily maintenance and oversight of system health and functionality Oversight of daily maintenance of system health and functionality
- Escalation resource for Tier 2 and 3 system issues
YOU ARE
- A problem solver with the ability to identify potential and/or existing issues, evaluate available options and recommend corrective action
- Agile in your approach and understand the methodologies related principles and best practices
- Passionate for continuous improvement of technology and business processes
- Experienced working within a global workforce and have an awareness and sensitivity to cultural differences
YOU HAVE
- Professional experience implementing, maintaining, and supporting Workday
- Applied knowledge of HCM, Recruiting, Talent, Learning, Compensation and/or Benefit module configuration
- Workday reporting and security framework knowledge
- Workday Certification preferred
- Applied experience consulting with the business to define requirements and to provide recommended solutions for prioritization within the HR portfolio of work
- Experience working using Agile, Scrum and related principles and best practices
